Man has replacement hand removed, now wants another one. Of course, he almost definitely will not get it, after annoying his doctors from the first operation. Still, I can't help thinking about a movie in which a man and his hand become "mentally detached".

I guess he better let the government know so they can update his biometric ID card.

I'd tell him to go fuck himself. Sorry man, you missed the boat. Better luck next life.

This movie comes to mind as well.

man, how creepy it would be to have someone else's hand attached to your body though. I can totally imagine why a person would have mental issues adapting to it. Of course it's ridiculous for him to assume he can get a new one, but I can relate emotionally to the idea of rejecting a stranger's hand.

Of course, i've painted my hands a number of times and feel like they're extremely specific to me (more so than any other body part except my face). Maybe not everyone is so attached - dunno.

Come on, it's clearly this movie that comes the closest.

Dark Messiah, I think you summed it up the best.

Regarding the creepiness of having someone else's hand... This is the premise of John Irving's novel The Fourth Hand. Sort of. A theme, anyway.

yeah MrBaliHai - it's also known as Mad Love - and it's one of the best.

If you have someone else's hand attached to your body, does that mean you can tickle yourself?
