Simon's not strictly in the mood for ballroom, but Paddy & Nico have much more in store than first appearances suggest. Watch the energy-shift in this electric pairing's performance. "I will be 80 this July."

I saw this when it was on and was pretty impressed. My favourite bit was the little dirty look she gave Simon when he pressed the buzzer. Don't mess with grandma.

Although there's already a backlash because they won the Spanish version.

Reminds me of that Coldplay video: The Hardest Part

Wow, thanks for posting this. Could she be any more elegant, beautiful or awesome? I don't think so.

That video could have done with a lot more Spencer and Barbara and a lot less Coldplay.

"Simon Cowell gets knocked on his ass during Britain's Got Talent" is an entire genre of YouTube clips that I am 100% the target audience for. I still have never forgotten Shaheen Jafargholi's performance from 2009

They had Shaheen's new music already cued up. Simon Cowell wasn't getting knocked on his ass so much as he was playing an angle.

@parliboy - true, I should have clarified in my post that I am a sucker for the way they edit BGT to show derisive Simon turning into enthused Simon.

This was totally great, but I find it a little irritating that so much of it plays on the shock of "OMG PEOPLE CAN STILL BE ALIVE AT 80". And the commentary at the end is completely disappointing in the same vein. She's inspirational to older people? Please. I'm 37 and I can't come close to dancing like that. They're inspirational to ME. The personal is personal, people.

I honestly fail to grasp the appeal of Simon Cowell. Seriously, what has that man ever offered the world beyond an impressive set of teeth?

You know, whenever I watch footage of him, I'm entranced by those teeth.
