Point of order: none of the musical selections played during that demo can be even remotely referred to as Rock (unless you include Hendrix's version of the last one). Call me back when they do "Stairway to Heaven" or "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Also, let me know if they get one of those flying bots playing the Theremin, which I think would be a near-perfect implementation of the technology(s).

wow, i'm impressed at how good these maintain position. my middle of the road blade quadcopter will just drift around even when you get the trim on the tx and calibration in the onboard controller perfect.

The title confused me because KMEL is also the call sign for the SF Bay Area hip hop radio station. So, I couldn't tell if somehow the station had changed formats or if "Flying Robot Rockstars" was a new Oakland rap collective or if Chuy Gomez is involved in robotics now or something.
