Every Third Word Is A Bleep Hey, hey, it's The Osbournes.Yep, Ozzy has his own TV show now.I just thought America needed to see what a normal family was really like says Mrs. Osbourne.Ozzy won't be getting subtitles, though.

Ozzy's neighbor is Pat Boone.

How perfect is that?

Dude...this is the best idea for a show in the history of ideas for shows. I think it would serve us all well to resolve to "shut up and enjoy the Ozzy".

I wish his wife's name was Harriet.

Why are ther crusifixes in everything he does? Is he a big jesus freak or something? I could never understand as his music sounded kind of awful, it had guitars I think. But then again there are a whole bunch of Church-rock/punk start ups. They have slogans like "Jesus Rocks you!" and stuff.

This explains the leather get up Mr Boone wore to an awards show a couple of years back. He's been inspired by his neighbor.

Ozzy cracks me up. Cool dude. Definitely will check this out.

You just need to quit while you're behind.

Pat Boone actually did an album covering metal songs (one is an Ozzy cover) called In a Metal Mood, but he does them lounge style and it's hilarious. But he got kicked off his Christian network because of it. I didn't know that they were neighbors.

Hmm.. I was trying to read up on why he wears them and I couldn't find anything ironic, he said that there was one gig that they did and he was afraid of satanists spreading bad vibes on him so his father made and blessed crucifixes that they wore ever since.

All I get now is Sorry, you are forbidden. . Probably appropriate?

I have the feeling this is gonna be a total laugh riot. I actually have a reason to watch MTV now!

Hmmm, so I wonder what the inevitable sequel will be....The Nugent Family perhaps?

Too bad it ain't Lemmy.

Don't fret BitterOldPunk, maybe Oz will invite Lemmy over for a barbecue and Ozzy, Pat & Lemmy can all hang out and have a few pops. Maybe, and this is my deepest hope, Mr. Boon will grace us with a version of "Iron Fist" or perhaps they can all do metal version of "Love Letters in the Sand."

Actually wouldn't the Motor City Madman be a terrific choice to take Marlon Perkins' job in a revival of "Wild Kingdom?"

Lyrics from Black Sabbath song After Forever (album Master of Reality)

Well I see the truth.
Yes I've seen the light and I've changed my ways.
And I'll be prepared when you're lonely and scared at the end of our days.

Could it be you're afraid of what your friends might say
If they knew you believed in God above?
They should realize before they criticize that God is the only way to love.

That could be the ultimate summit meeting.I say we crash it.

Maybe Lemmy will show Pat how to do a proper Little Richard cover.Stop the finger snappin' and throw ya fist in the air, dammit.

Actually, you would need subtitles to understand Ozzy and Lemmy at the same time.

I was watching a Behind the Music episode (yes, I'm addicted) on Oasis and whenever they showed Liam they put up subtitles but they didn't for Noel (they're brothers and have basically the same accent). And then inexplicably halfway through the show they put up subtitles for Noel as well. I thought it was hilarious, because you really could understand what they were saying without them. I think ole VH-1 was having a joke.

Heh. I just saw their house on MTV's Cribs, with the same family members. It seemed to be a new mansion of some older vintage that they were heavily renovating (including filling in the pool, a fact his wife had somehow concealed from Ozzy himself).

Oh, the best ones are Tommy Lee's place, with his koi pond ("the koi are my boys"), and um, um, it'll come to me, British singer looking out on a lush, green valley and lamenting, "Look what they've done to it. This used to be McDonald's and Starbucks as far as the eye could see."
