A someone who reads Reddit, that wording is totally confusing to me. It's not photo comments that Your_Post_As_A_Movie turns into posters, but posts. Image or album posts.

Huh, it's kind of cool to see how much shitty_watercolour has improved over time. The last time I saw one of their comments, the watercolor was actually quite shitty.

Poorly Timed Gimli was also pretty good, though he appears to have stopped offering his axe to anybody.

Some of the titles and taglines are random or just nonsensical, but that kind of adds to the fun of it. "Your Post As A Movie" definitely has a good eye, some design chops, and a thorough familiarity with the conventions of movie poster design, but I'm just as impressed by the speedy made-to-orderness of it all.

I had to stop looking at these cos I was getting pouty about them not being actual movies. YES ! I want a spacemovie with Michael Fassbender and Gillian Andersson.

Great posters. My favorite reddit novelty account is rambles_off_topic.

I would totally watch a movie that had Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Dakota Fanning, and Patrick Stewart headlining it.

yeah, some of these are crying out to be made. The Redditor has done an excellent job of coming up with ideas to match the posts they are using as source material.

I really want to see Soul Rider with Liam Neeson, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor more than I want to see anything that is actually out right now.

I saw that fakey-fake poster as well and as soon as I saw the first two names, I surmised the director's name.

There is a lot of scope for ambiguity in a post about someone who turns posters' posts into posters. It reminds me of poorly-written news story from Toronto from last year -- part of the ongoing Rob Ford drama -- when city councilors were moving to strip the mayor of most of his powers and he was (as always) threatening to sue; some of the members of city council were also checking with lawyers to see if this was a credible threat. Of course, not all journalists are entirely clear in their word choices and a story which contained repeated uses of the terms council, councilors, counsel and counselors was murky to say the least.

If you are using Firefox and don't have the Thumbnail Zoom plus extension installed, you should do that. The extension shows the full image when you simply hover over any link to an image. This allows for rapid consumption of fake movie posters, which is great because they are candy.
I love the repetitive use of certain actors for particular movies: Mark Wahlberg or Liam Neeson for anything that involves a violent loner. Chiwetel Ejiofor for anything that involves multi-ethnic casting or is a modern British movie about anything. Harrison Ford or Bill Murray as a big name throw-in. Very nicely done.

Saw this one.
Thought "this will involve Seth Rogen."
Was not disappointed.
