Okay, for an actual relevant link (and to make up for my previous flippancy) - If you really want to learn about the heartache that is and has been Congo since the colonization by Belgium, then point your TiVos at ABC for the next five nights. Nightline is doing a five-part series on Congo called the Heart of Darkness. I heard about this a couple days before the volcano, and just shook my head later - when the volcano erupted... What could possibly happen next?

According to Bill Bryson, Americans have been turning nouns into verbs for years (eg. to vaccuum, to dust, to ski, to sled). Surely "to volcano" will pass easily into the American language.

However, I say why not start a reverse trend and start turning verbs into nouns again?
