That is an amazing lot of talent right there.

Worth a listen just for the Billie Holiday and Gwen Stefani parts alone.

If your close your eyes it's like the best group concert ever.

I don't know if his pop divas (Shakira, Britney, Cher, etc.) were accurate or not, but they were amazing.

Crucial points deducted for a Willie Nelson that sounds nothing like Willie Nelson.

He can do Walken, which is startlingly rare.

(Rob Cantor will be remembered by posterity as the writer and performer of Shia Labeouf. I'm pretty sure there is a "previously" on his musical about the guy whose job it is to run in to the President's office and say "There's an asteroid heading for Earth!", but I can't find it...)

Thanks for posting this... it was great fun and I loved that the keyboard dude got his impression of himself labeled as such.

I kept thinking, damn, I'd love to have a party with all my musician friends, invite this guy and get everyone wasted. Musical hijinks would definitely ensue.

Is it weird that I thought a lot of the female voices were more accurate than the male ones? Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera particularly.

Pretty much what everybody else already said, but he also enunciated *way* too clearly for Bob Dylan. I could tell what the words were supposed to be.

If you're interested in an earlier version of this, there's Paul Frees & the Poster People. Paul Frees was an extremely versatile voice actor, who voiced everything from Boris Badenov on Rocky & Bullwinkle to Ludwig von Drake on the Donald Duck cartoons to Toucan Sam to the Pillsbury doughboy. He's also played in role in helping Elvis get that narcotics agent badge for Richard Nixon. Anyhow, he released an album called Paul Frees & the Poster People, parts of which are uploaded on YouTube, that features Frees singing contemporary late 60s songs in the voice of 1930-1940s era Hollywood stars. Here's Boris Karloff as The Look of Love, Bela Lugosi singing Joe South's Games People Play, and Peter Lorre singing Hey Jude.

Previously, Rob Cantor and a flesh eating Shia LaBeouf.

I have serious doubts that the video is actually a live performance. Sync issues aside, there are fundamental changes to the physiology of his throat and mouth that would need to take place in order for that Shakira impression to take place, for instance. I'll buy a hat and eat it if he can do all of those live on Ellen.

So he faked this video and went viral and now he's really famous for faking a video, I guess?

Christ, what an asshole.

If only the group that played Somebody I Used To Know were as belatedly honest.

halfbuckaroo: "I stand by my original comment."

Yeah!

I'm a little bit conflicted- nevertheless, it's still great, but now it's a different kind of great.

Still a really lovely song in itself, too!
