Haiku Salut

Haiku Salut are an English instrumental band who make Yann Tiersen-esque pop. Their current touring show utilises "20 or so vintage lamps which are programmed to flash, flicker and fade in time to the music".

Thank you thank you THANK YOU for posting this! I simply can't get enough of this sort of thing (which even Tiersen himself isn't doing anymore.) Other than this lovely new discovery and Wintergatan, are there any other groups mining this rich and lovely territory?

I want this touring show to come to Seattle!!!!

I've seen them a number of times, and they are indeed brilliant.

Some years ago, they were about half of an indiepop band named The Deirdres, who made this video, along with a lot of other great songs.
