Moon Animate Make-Up!

250 animators took an episode of Sailor Moon and divided it into 6-second pieces, and then each animator re-animated one of those pieces. Here is the result: Moon Animate Make-Up!

This is really cool. I don't know anything about Sailor Moon (except that it's a cartoon and people really get into it) but the different styles are incredible. It does look like some animators got longer than 6 seconds, and some got far less, but that could just be my perception.

Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed seeing the "build" portions of different animators' works in there. Having a common character made it easier for me to understand the different strategies involved in the art.

That's cool. I'd like to see a regular cartoon series animated like that.

Xingcat, I don't think they just did a 6-second slice. I think they gave each artist a camera cut (or part of one, if they were too long).

That was fantastic. As robcorr said, I would totally watch a whole series like that.
