Guide to the Races of Star Wars

georgelucasfan1 here. I was a little boy in 1979 when Episode 3 The New Home came out. These films and shows have been a big part of my life. And I would like to share with you my Star Warms knowledge. So step into my Millionaire Falcon, as we take a...... 'warp tour'... of these alien races that lived in this galaxy far, far ago.

Well Star Wars 1977 was actually episode 4, so that's not a very good start.

This is like the bizarre live child of that Red Letter Media guy and Stefan from Saturday Night Live which is surprisingly effective at hitting my comedy spot.

If you can't get enough of this sort of thing.

I have to admit, the phrase "Gun Mummies" gave me the giggles.

Welp, looks like I'm gonna call it the Mos Iceland Container Store for the rest of my life.

Ugggh. That voice just disqualifies me from listening to more than thirty seconds of this.

My nine year old would love this so much! It would appeal to both his love of the silly and his love of obnoxiously correcting people who get Star War names wrong. Unfortunately, we're currently in the middle of "Episode III: Battle Over the F-Bomb," so I'm not going to show it to him.

This is the same man who gave us this, so it's basically impossible for me to hate him unless it turns out he's committed, like, human rights violations.

It's like Liartown's Apple Cabin Foods, but not as good and for Star Wars?

In the Star Trek one, he got me with the shot of The Wiggles. I always knew those guys got started as star trek cosplayers.

I don't know, I thought that was pretty freaking hilarious. I did not stop laughing.

I started out really disliking it, but it kept growing on me, and growing, and growing. By the end, I found it great.

Nah, man. That was the first one, episode 1, Genghis Khan's Trek.

I'm pretty sure you mean Episode III, Genghis Khan's Trek.

The near-homophones of the terrible Episode III titles are my favorite part. "Remember Seth?" is just goddamn gloriously awful.

Tuckskin Rikers is the name of my new band.

Cicierega is possibly better known for the Potter Puppet Pals series...

We made it this far into a Neil Cicierega discussion with no mention of BRODYQUEST!?

Cicierega should be better known for Mouth Silence, which is hands-down the best album anybody released anybody this year. But really, at this point he's well-known for two dozen individually-awesome projects, because he is the best.

Known for a lot of things, but my favorite is still The Song of the Count.

He did The Song of the Count? Well ok then. That has been one of my favorite things for basically ever.

Redlettermedia is much more entertaining and much less annoying.

Does Tim and Eric predate both Liartown and Cicierega for this kind of thing? They sort of do it all the time, but the most hilarious example I can think of is their "Sports!"

This totally made me laugh a lot. I don't ultimately care who came up with this false naming thing, I can always use more of it.
