It's really completely inexplicable.

If you watch it, and you like it, then it's worth it. If you don't? Well, the next thread looks kind of funny, maybe move on.

Really the only thing I can objectively say about it is, you wouldn't believe how strong the continuity is in these ridiculous little videos. They actually care about their strange/unsettling/sweet-natured half-verbal freakout cartoon. (And so do I.)

I finished season 1. I'm saving season 2 for after I get home from knee-replacement surgery next weekend.

Thanks for the post!

I feel a feeling though I think it's kind of rude
I feel a feeling that their simple lives are screwed
It feels like in this feeling I won't be alone
As we approach the vast abyss of the unknown

I feel a feeling

and

it's

baaaaaaaaaad

Ok. I'm watching. WHAT am I watching? Whose brain is this?

Imagine you are about 5 or 6, and only have the vaguest idea of who Batman and Spiderman are, how they work, or what they do. Now imagine you and a friend pretending to be them, and trying to make up adventures with whatever information you have in your 5-6 year-old-brain.

That's this.

(it's genius, honestly. Captures the surrealism of playing and making shit up in a way I haven't seen anywhere else. Including the weird unfocused dread).

I can't decide whether baman and piderman are 4-year-olds or stoners. A distinction without a difference, perhaps.

Yes, it reminded me of kids talking. I was joking. I get it and I love it!

Pumpkin is such a snappy dresser, though. I can see why Squib goes for him.

Baman Piderman is wonderful. The drawing seems so childish, but the perspective can actually get pretty brilliant at times.

My five-year-old really enjoyed this, especially Green Spiderman.

I saw Baman and Piderman cosplay at Dragoncon a few years ago. My response was full of squeals and entirely undignified.

Wow, this is great. I can't even say why, exactly, but it's so surrealist and reminiscent of being a kid without being mannered and twee and annoying, it has a really natural, organic flow to it. I love it.

Reading this post, I was convinced this was made by the guy who does Crimershow (previously). Evidently not, but I'll bet you it was inspired by it.

I want this to somehow involve Steve Brule.

Is it just me or has Mondo Media made a few self-promoting posts disguised as content lately?

I don't know, but I assure you that I have no connection with them.
