This video made me think of the scene in the 2nd half of Barry Lyndon when Redmond is looking through the gallery and remarks to the host that he really admires the artist's use of the color "blue"... of course, the scene is bathed is gorgeous blue natural light from the right side of the frame. And of course, Redmond is being a total bullshit artist, as he is throughout the entire film. You can hear how phony his quasi-intellectual statement is to the salesman. So Kubrick has a lot of cool shots with red in them. OK, you can make one of these with every color.

I'm working on my fuchsia Kubrick supercut now.

That red restroom in The Shining always creeps me the fuck out (not that the rest of the hotel is rainbows and unicorns, but...)

The air in that room is absolutely charged with tension.

Great! I would like to see one of these for every color.

But the fact is red is pretty significant in Kubrick's work. So many of the signature images — HAL's "eye" in 2001, the rape victim in A Clockwork Orange, the elevator full of blood (and so much else) in The Shining — are executed with an intense splash of red, and this montage does a pretty good job of recontextualizing those images while requiring a minimal time investment on the viewer's part. It's good!

Anyway, it's not like this guy is the first to declare Kubrick's use of Red A Thing; he just came up with a compelling illustration of it.
