Professor Shyguy comes in like a wrecking ball. Awesome chiptune arrangement, great vocals, and a music video that's far funnier than it has any right to be.
This video is grossly unfair and discriminatory to people like me, who frequently knock things over BY ACCIDENT.
HONESTLY, I DIDN'T MEAN TO!!!

Would be much better without the vocals. And without the video.

This will become more popular than the knockout game. Wayne LaPierre will warn us all about it in a speech in six months. Mark my words.

Does this really need an FPP? A sub-6000 view YT vid of an ultra-cringeworthy "look-how-awkward-I-make-things" dude singing a song we've all heard a million billion times?

Um...actually I'd never heard the song before. At least that's out of the way.
(Or if you prefer, "Is this something I'd need to listen to popular music less than 5 years after it's released to understand?")

It's also not a straight cover, more of a medley, including parts of "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "Firework". Those were the bits I recognized; there may have been more. I kinda liked it. The hammer lick made me laugh. And the Magic cards.

He told me that if I didn't FPP this, he would shoot this dog.

He told me if I didn't FPP this, he'd buy the last Croissant Donut at Dunkin Donuts, and just glare at it for fifteen minutes before throwing it away.
He told me if I didn't FPP this, he'd come to my work and re-arrange my pencil mug, so all the pointy ends are up.
He told me if I didn't FPP this, he was gonna shake-shake-shake it out, no treble.
(I laughed. It was a good video.)

Chatroulette Wrecking Ball saved this post. The looks of bewilderment that slowly gave way to hilarity when they figured out what he was doing were amazing.

I really hope this doesn't become a meme.
A year ago there was a "slip in the supermarket isle and crash milk cartons" meme. While it was funny to some, I saw the after effects. I was in a shop one day where there was splashed milk across three isles of the local supermarket. Everything was covered in milk.
Of course, it was the staff who suffered. They had to unpack and wipe down entire shelves of products. I tried to explain to the manager the "teenager who accidentally feel" was very likely doing a deliberate act for camera. The manager looked at me like I was mad - "People fall over deliberately and film it?"
My biggest problem with any of these memes is that in almost all versions - someone suffers - either on camera for instant reward, or off camera afterwards. Scaring someone can have after-effects. Making someone feel stupid on camera can have after-effects. Making a mess and leaving it for others to clean up can have after-effects.
TLDR: get off my lawn, memes!
