OK, so a loooong time ago, there was a cartoon with three main characters: a spaceman, a cowboy, and a caveman. I saw it; no one else ever did. I have never found any trace of it since. What was it?

I still want to know if Dodo, the Kid from Outerspace existed, or was just imagined by me, late in the 1960's, early in the morning (ever wonder if you actually experienced/observed something in the past, or just imagined you did?). Also, a space-based cartoon on around the same time with lots of different space ships. I also remember the Modern Farmer, but that wasn't a cartoon....

The site isn't very deep, so I hope they flesh it out.

Oh, too, too often.

Yeah! Did it have a spaceman, a cowboy, and a caveman?

It may have. It, at the very least had lots of different spaceships, and was on WNBC on Saturday mornings.

No record of Janna of the Jungle? Loses my vote.

Actually, I must concur that this thing sucks. Good idea poorly executed.
But since we're on the subject. There's a Woody Woodpecker where Woody puts Gabby Gator in a pressure-cooker which then explodes sending Gabby into orbit. He then passes a Sputnik-shaped satellite with a dog inside, who says with a Russian accent, "Alligator, Go Home!"
First of all, the convolutedness of the references in that gag are mindboggling and second, if you get them it's flat-out hilarious.
I tried searching this database for that short, but no dice. If anyone has an mpeg file, a wav of the "Alligator..." crack, or even the title of the episode, PLEASE let me no via email. Thanx.

No ExoSquad listed. Man, I loved that cartoon - hated it's timeslot. They used to show it at 5:30am. Suffice it to say, I was an extremely tired student for about two years.

Nothing about Schoolhouse Rock, cartoons that blew my mind as a child growing up.

Lame.

Gigantor? Captain Scarlet?

Captain Scarlet is not a cartoon. Those are puppets.
