I didn't want to be the one who went there first, but now that it's been brought up: as an erstwhile music major I couldn't help but think that if anybody had tried this at my university they'd have gotten yelled at for not practicing enough.

One day I will have a pair of extra robot arms with the resolution to be able to play the violin, just so that I can say "I can play the Mendelssohn Concerto by myself."

Though... first I think I have to learn to play the violin. That might be an important piece of this.
