Oh, I am so glad that all the kitties made it back to their respective homes in time for the holidays.

(my favorite part of Breaking Cat News is Gato News from the ceiling cats).

ALL OF THE FAVORITES FOR BREAKING CAT NEWS FOREVER.

That strip is like a little twice-weekly infusion of joy.

I adore Breaking Cat News. Can't we just have a box of ham? is our question for this holiday.

Beyond that, this is wonderful. Repeat, wonderful. JHarris out.

Gatos Noticias is, indeed, the best thing ever.

Really? I heard Breaking Cat News is owned by Rupert Murdoch... because he hates dogs.

D'oh! I knew that no matter how carefully I worked, I'd still screw up one of those links. Thanks, cortex and JHarris!

These comics were published in serial form, every Monday and Thursday from December 1 until this morning. Those cliffhangers were KILLER. I felt like those Dickens fanpeoples who stood on the docks yelling "Tell us, what has happened to Little Nell?!"

Yeah, this was horrible if you started 4 weeks ago. Sure you knew that Elvis (and, later, Tommy) would end up fine but I am not good with waiting.

Aw MAN! My heart! Dammit, Cat News, you're not supposed to break my heart again!

This is far too adorable and I don't know how anyone coped reading it in a serial format.

Made me cry! In a good way!

Some people coped by creating elaborate theories in the comments, including one where Tommy was a ghost.

I gather that the Woman and the Man spent extra time with the boys, even though it was their fictional selves who were having adventures.

I've gotten more than a few links wrong before myself, it happens. Nice post!

"Do you mind if I smell your nose?" and "May I wash your face?" are my new pickup lines at meetups.

My wife and I read it all, and routinely at the end of every instalment would either high-five HOORAY!!! or grip hands OH NO, depending on where we were at.

Glad the HOORAYS win in the end.

Love this cartoon so much! And the art is so, so good — they really reward rereading and zooming in on the artwork.

The cliffhangers were brutal — I'm so glad it all got resolved well. At one point I did thank Georgia Dunn via Twitter for posting photos of the real-life cats doing things like "helping" with the tree, as it helped (a little) reassure my brain that it was fictional Elvis who was lost, not real Elvis.

We might need to make a version of Tommy's Christmas tree next year…

I did the Kermit flail the whole time I was reading this latest installment. So much love!

Yorvit helps fluff the tree branches and Roswell helps arrange the lights.

Great, now I have to explain to my husband and father-in-law why I'm crying over a cat cartoon on the Internet. Thanks a bunch. (No, actually. Thanks for the lovely links.)

We are a Chanu-cat family, but Giles and Willow are still eager to help with present-unwrapping.

Aww, this is really sweet. Like Two Lumps, except better. I'm happy I now have another webcomic to follow.

I loved how when Tommy was reunited with his owner, he called her "Woman." Because that's what they're called.

Georgia said on Twitter that one reader suggested she should have changed the name of the strip to Heart-Breaking Cat News for the first few installments.
