The Pinkprint Movie [Featuring Nicki Minaj]

"The Pinkprint Movie is separated into three acts that correspond with songs from the record: “The Crying Game,” “Grand Piano,” and “I Lied.” “All Things Go” plays over the opening credits. Executive producers include Minaj, Lil Wayne, Birdman, and music video director Nabil. It was directed by Taylor Cohen and Francesco Carrozzini, and stars Minaj, Willy Monfret, and Boris Kodjoe." After listening to Nicki's first two albums I found myself wishing I had a tenth of her bravado. When I listened to The Pinkprint, though, I wanted to give her a hug.

She's one of the most talented musical artists of our time, I love this, thanks!

I liked it. The film and lyrics are pretty heavy-handed, but I suppose that is deliberate, and they do work together. I wish more popular artists would work even a little bit outside of the box like this, doing something more interesting than the usual radio-ready song plus video.

The only real good song I like from Nicki Minaj is I Am Your Leader ft. Cam'Ron & Rick Ross. She was also ok on Tapout but that was because of the beat, lyrically she was not strong on it. Since I cannot predict the future I would have to wait and see what it looks like. Busy now, watch it later!
