Suck the Balls! is an installation by Niklas Roy, the first version in Krakow, the second in Prague.
"When sucking the balls which are surrounding his feet, the balls race through the transparent pipe system, creating a visually stunning scene. The journey of the little balls ends in a container above the ball pit, waiting for the climax of the operation: When the visitor pulls the release handle of the container, a fountain of balls splashes down onto his head in a joyful shower."
i saw a movie with that same title once , but boy did it end differently.

Just don't bite any while you're sucking them. The whole system spasms and shuts down.

The Denver Children's Museum has something like this. If you don't have a kid, you can rent mine and check it out

I won't visit because I'll totally hog the machine ... this looks totally fun and sensory-rich.

The Instant Art Career installation also sounds like it would have been a lot of fun to be a part of. Bidding crazily on the collaborative work of strangers, or being one of the strangers that got immediately paid...it's actually much more idealistic than my "real" art career, and loads more fun looking.

You might not want to think too hard about where rain comes from.

This looks like it was so much fun. In case anyone is still wondering, I'm affixing my official (TSFW) Totally Safe for Work tag.

Man, that looks great and to think that I could have visited it last summer! And I missed it because I did not know!

I wonder what Sigmund Freud and/or Andre Breton would have to say about this.

I'd like to see them spaced at regular intervals. To reflect the regularities of the settings. Just a thought.

Partially inflated, sometimes. So I've heard.

The second link (which I also missed at first) shows that there's another one happening in Prague right now.

And has me thinking, "Well, Prague is only like 4 hours away by train. I could do a weekend trip to see this."

My inner child wants to visit one of these installations. I don't need to borrow anybody else's kid to have fun. (Though I'd worry about my glasses even under the hard hat. Safety goggles?)
