Hot Dog: the Music Video

Shred Kelly, a "five-piece "stoke-folk," banjo-driven band from the ski-bum town of Fernie, B.C" have just put out a video for their song Sing to the Night, which may not be the most Canadian video of all time, but it's still a lot of fun, and a bravura piece of one-shot backwards-skiing stoke-folk film-making.

Their rafting trip with CBC Radio's Grant Lawrence is also entertaining.

Pretty sure this one was linked here a while back. Reminds me of the part of Canada I grew up in, so it has my vote as Most Canadian ever.

While it can't compete with some of the other videos nominated here, I'll always have a soft spot for this one.

Shred Kelly's a super fun band to see and you all should go see them if they come to your town. They play here a few times a year and I always try to get out.

Things I noticed about the video:
- One take, that was pretty awesome.
- I used to ski on those skis?!?!?!
- Holy cow, Fernie's grown a lot since I was last there.
- no shotski?

I'm in awe that that could have been done in one take, and filmed so well and so smoothly, presumably by someone facing backwards. Can that possibly be real? /notadownhillskier
