Ha -- yeah, these guys are good. I went to a show in the States last year and discovered that literally all of their fans are fifteen years old.

This is their best song. Live version.

15, huh? I guess I'll have to go incognito as someone's dad when they come to the states.

Such youthful joy and optimism! I hate them.

Caught them on KEXP. I'm about 127 years old but I really like them. I'd be afraid to see them live though.

The song "beach" (linked under Australia) by the OP is not sunshiny or optimistic. Well, okay the melody is. But listen to the lyrics.

Maybe sometimes
In the evening I take you out for dinner and a fight
Cant read your mind I cant read your mind

[...]

You moved away from here
Towards another hemisphere
And all I want to be is in your company
I made a mix tape
With all the songs that you hate

[...]

I heard your voice today
But we last spoke in may
I still miss you
Now you're a ghost a sea
Drifting peacefully
You'll never come back to me
I read your eulogy

Catchy. Like a combination of Vampire Weekend and Hospitality, if both of those bands were a decade younger.
