National Pancake Week

National Pancake Week isn't getting the press it deserves. It seems like sometimes with all this "War on Terrorism" and "Olympic Fever" stuff, we forget about the really important things in life.

My dad's family had aebleskiver, a Danish pancake variant, for Christmas Eve. That and rice pudding. My mom said, "where's the beef?" and, well, we save the pancakes for Xmas morning breakfast.

So, spoon, seems reasonable to me.

Actually, I've eaten one of those before. They're really good. Kind of like a giant Yorkshire Pudding.
