A nice collection of "Five best moments" at The Guardian:
"Each week readers help us pick five highlights from an actor's film career"

I clicked. I saw Marisa Tomei. "They better have My Cousin Vinnie."

"Each week, readers help us pick five highlights from a white actor's film career, except for the odd week we do Sam Jackson or Jackie Chan".

I was expecting this to be literal favorite moments, like favorite looks and lines, or, at most, favorite scenes.

From the Reese Witherspoon one (emphases mine):
In her 1991 feature film debut, a teenaged Witherspoon tackled the issue of unrequited pubescent love directed at an older, brother-like figure – needless to say, a challenging role. She tapped into the raw volatility that so often makes coming-of-age films especially memorable. And here we are, 14 years later, still thinking about her turn as Dani Trant.
It's not 2005.

Whoah, they are way off on Liam Neeson. Here are his best screen moments:

Krull
Darkman
Clash of the Titans
The A-Team
The Lego Movie

Like Mae West, when he's good he's very good, but when he's bad he's better.

One of the wrongest things I've ever read is a list of Bonham Carter's best performances that doesn't include the one where, you know, she's scrambling on her knees to find a chopping block to aid in her own damn beheading in Lady Jane.

Which is ok, I guess.

Since the wrongest thing is evidently a list for Meryl Streep that contains Death Becomes Her and not A Cry in the Dark (or Angels in America or The Devil Wears Prada or Silkwood or Out of Africa or omg c'mon you did this on purpose...)

For my money, Bill Murray's finest moment is a scene in Broken Flowers, where he's ... sitting on a couch. That's it. Just Bill and a couch. And it's fucking hilarious.

My personal favourite best moment for an actor is Val Kilmer saying "I'm your huckleberry" in Tombstone. I didn't like the movie much and I don't care much for Val Kilmer as an actor but I like that delivery of that one line. I'm not really sure why either.

I believe Bill Murray's finest moment is 17 years long and counting.

I don't care much for Val Kilmer as an actor but I like that delivery of that one line.

From Kiss Kiss Bang Bang:
Kilmer: Jesus. Look up "idiot" in the dictionary, you know what you'll find?
RDJ: A picture of me?
Kilmer: No! The definition of the word idiot, which you fucking are!

Sublime.

The John Cusackian moments were a little too obvious.

But hey more than made up for it by including the Angel Gabriel role in "Constantine" under the Tilda Swinton moments because those were also the only good parts of the movie in general.

Was very happy to see they included Grease 2 in Michelle Pfieffer's Top 5 (it's probably my favorite "So bad it's good" movie and she was genuinely awesome in it).

No Great Santini for Duvall? No About A Thousand Other Movies for Meryl? (Though Sophie's probably belongs - haven't seen it since whenever, and I don't know I could ever bear to again, the reveal was so horrifying.)
A couple of the other folks there don't have Five Best imho.
And oh, that moment from Schindler. Liam Neeson will always be that kind of serious actor to me, not this action-hero thing that came along later.

OK this is seriously weak. Maybe...maybe...5 reasonably entertaining SCENES that each person was in, but...5 BEST moments??? not even close for any of the actors I randomly chose.
WTF?
