These are apparently live results, which surprises me a bit, because I'd have thought Terry Pratchett would rank much higher than 10th among Terries at the moment. Also, I'm kind of surprised there are 10 people named Sharon to be on this list.

The description is kind of ambiguous: "Google Feud is a web game based on the Google API. We select the questions, then the results are pulled instantly from Google's autocomplete. Beware, certain results may be offensive and/or incomprehensible. " It could be that they select the question when a new game starts, or it could be that they're periodically refreshing the results throughout the day. Google will impose some severe query rate limits (contra Yahoo or Bing), so they might be trying to be clever. (You're probably right - querying on the fly is easier than caching the results, but that wiggle room is there.)

One of the round I got was just "Google ______". I may have derived a certain amount of bitter satisfaction from entering "Reader" for every answer, even though, ironically, it wasn't there. Some things can never be forgiven.
