The podcast Reasonably Sound recently released an episode about the sounds of space itself—it was a little overwhelming to listen to at night, alone, in a car...but oh so good.

Oh, my Kerbal Space Program machinimas are about to get sooo much better!

Fans of these sounds, especially announcer/radio chatter, may enjoy the last album by the duo Public Service Broadcasting. The album is called "The Race for Space" and they've got a great ear for drama.

Here's a great song called "Go!" which mixes their original music with Neil Armstrong's final landing approach to the moon aboard the lander Eagle, including the cool controllers responding to Eagle's 1202/1201 alarms, indicating that the lander' computer had rebooted itself because it failed to cope with radar data it was getting.

the "Saturn Radio Emissions #2" is what any sound becomes if you do excessive unnatural manipulation in the spectral domain.
