Not so much a mashup as a parody, and a really fun one.

This is the best thing I have seen, possibly ever.

Right now is the first time in the past 5 years I wished I was on Facebook.

Holy shit. So good.

Uptown Fhqwhgads is also worth linking.

But, but, NOSE!

(Also, say what you want about me, but I was expecting Vader...)

I like the use of the Harry Potter musical themes as motifs.

I liked that so much more than I thought I would. Also +1 for Uptown Fhqwhgads.

This is another of those songs that really lends itself to remixing and parody. For example, Downton Funk. I must say, I do enjoy this trend. Dark lord Funk is my favorite * Funk so far, though.

The parody itself is kind of dumb but the Voldemort dude is mesmerizing and I wish this was just, like, an actual musical group.

I had been casually collecting Uptown Funk parodies for a potential multi-link post, but I'll just drop these here...

The puppets at Glove & Boots do an interesting approach, "Shaolin Monk", with actual Shaolin lore mixed with the puppet gorillas and groundhogs.

Pogona Creative, the Orange Public Library and Chapman University made a library-centric version: "Unread Book".

Oakland's East Bay SPCA takes pet adoption to "Uptown Pup".

Recipe site SortedFood does Dough-dough-dough-nuts with "Up-Down Dunk".

"Ultron Funk" uses clips from the Avengers:AoU trailers.

So. Many. Versions using video game clips, but this one with Call of Duty seems to work ("My AK12 gonna give it to ya").

And Columbia Business School's "CBS Follies" (not to be confused with that other CBS) did "Recruitment Funk", in which an MBA is getting funky pitches from prospective employers: Goldman Sachs, Google and Proctor & Gamble. Now THAT is comedy.
