Lego Adventure in the City. via the always wonderful The Kid Should See This

This stop motion animated short story, LEGO Adventure in the City, was written and directed by Rogier Wieland for AKQA, Shanghai and LEGO China. It took six animators and two set builders to help bring together a mix of brick-made characters and sets, and some human-sized sets, too!

Ya so, I'll avoid letting my kid see this in the fear that I will hear that he doesn't have enough Legos... Actually, can we burn all copies of this?

The crowd reactions to the "Lion, no the Elephant, no the Dinosaur" bit was my favorite. The one person on the cross street on the right who fainted. Perfect.

This is so amazing. For some reason, the shadow of the tree at the beginning blew me away as much as anything.
