Pluto just bitter 'cause Pluto can't be no planet any more.

I'm sure that Julian wouldn't have sung For the Planet Pluto if he'd known about the pottymouth.

February 7, 1979: Happy fourteenth birthday, 'Pluto'.

Pluto didn't break the solar system.

Also, its rotational period is 6 days and some change, which is distinctly shorter than the shortest orbital period of about 88 days.

Is Pluto used synonymously with the afterlife in Roman mythology? I'm unaware of that.

Time didn't really change with any discoveries revolving Pluto, I don't think. At least the concept of it. Or the actual measurement of it.

It's awfully self-aggrandizing for a dwarf planet that has lots of siblings out where it is that we are just now discovering.

I'm OK with just letting all the 'dwarf planets' be planets and ending up with like 18 planets or whatever.

*nods* You go, Pluto.

The fact of using one's AK, or not, does not seem itself determinative of whether a day could be classified as good.

I'm just happy that Pluto has slam poetry about her. She deserves it.

Yes, Pluto and I are BBFs forever. You're tiny and cold, too? I hear you. I've got your back.

Listening to her caricature Pluto is like listening to Trump describe illegal immigrants.

okay but uh can I point out that this is really smart, especially the repurposing of pluto (with its planet/non-planet status a funny meaningless football in meaningless oxford comma style internet debates) here as a means to talk about race and power? cause it's pretty smart. it's this funny thing about pluto and then suddenly it's not.

also I had never heard of Fatimah Asghar before, and when I googled her name I found this interview where she reveals that when she was a kid she wrote naughty Harry Potter fic, and that that's what got her into being a writer. so cool person all around it seems.

I saw a cartoon, two panels, pluto and Neil Degrasse Tyson. Pluto looks askance at NDT, and remarks, "You're... You're not Carl Sagan." Neil Degrasse Tyson sputters, "Yeah, well... you're not a planet!"

Here's the poem I wrote about Pluto back when it got de-listed. I even wore a black armband with the Pluto symbol on it ...

Loved this, wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Thanks for posting it.

Really not seeing how this bears any resemblance to Trump's hateful bigotry.
