If the villiagers can't make something out of the wheat I so thoughtfully provided they can go pound sand.

Just played through. This was really fun and quite novel. Would love to see a longer version.

What wheat?

Interesting. It all comes down to that.

Being in the right place helps. Also not misinterpreting their anti-ageless figure bigotry for still hungry. Ungrateful bastards.

Storage compartments? Storage compartments?

Oh, that's beautiful. Love the ending, or at least the first part -- the plane didn't have nearly as much emotional impact for me as what came before, to the point where it almost spoiled it a little. It would've been better with children playing in a village nearby maybe.

BUMP - WHAT WHEAT?

You have to explore past the village a bit, and then return. Under water.

Such a beautiful little game.

I seem to remember playing it before but it's well worth the replay.

Thank you for posting this.

I'll start playing now, but my spacebar's broken. I'll get back to you by 2414 with how I'm doing.

Copy/paste!

I have a soft spot for 'Hold Your Fire'.

Ok, but how do you get across the water after the village. The "sometimes he needed help" or whatever location?

Tried to edit. Failed. I figured it out. I just lack patience.

There's totally an easter egg of some kind on the other side of the end place that you can get to by planting two trees on two different ledges, but the asshole village humans kept stymieing my progress by chopping down the trees I was using. Then I finally got my second chestnut over and my first tree was gone, so I just went ahead and finished the game. If anyone has the patience, let me know what the deal is. I saw a tombstone.

Hm, turns out this isn't actually a browser game. It seems to require some sort of runtime environment called "Macromedia Adobe Shockwave Director Lite, Flash Edition"

I look forward to when they port it to run in a browser, though!

The tombstone reads: Here lies a traveler between worlds, whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place.

Whatever it is, it runs in both Firefox and Chromium on this absolutely ancient installation of Ubuntu Linux I'm using.
