An interesting change from star wars and star trek, where it seemed like every new scene introduced a new character or species.

I am generally not a huge fan of just "renaming characters and places with funnier names" as an approach to parody, but there was so much of it in this case that my resistance was broken down, and when he got to "a smurf, named Gumball" I shamed myself by snorting.

Hmm, okay, but lacks the 1960s Ivy League culture inside jokes of Bored of the Rings.

You may also know him as Lemon Demon. He has a Patreon -- two bucks gets you his entire 1999-2014 discography, including his two recent Smash Mouth-themed mashup albums, which are crazy excellent.

God bless him, he made new names each time.

So people tell me the reason I didn't find Wizard People, Dear Reader funny was that I know nothing about Harry Potter.

My absolute love of neilcic's music gags and my general feeling of being unimpressed by this video leaves me believing instead that this type of joke just isn't for me.
