She is! She is the sole artist I give money to on Patreon. I have a love of all things nautical so her stuff is ideal for my tastes.

Bedded down on the boat, I can barely bring myself to close my eyes and lose sight of the stars. But every time I check, they're still there.
Beautiful.

Great stuff. Became a fan of hers with the Charles W. Morgan comic (the previously).

I did this same rafting trip with my family when I was a teenager in the '80s, except we did a shorter trip from the tip to the bottom and hiked up to the Rim from Phantom Ranch. Happy to see the experience hasn't changed much. Highly recommended.

I got hung up on "lorries," waiting for the big UK-connection reveal that never came. I did love the washes though.

What a fun read, and now I really want to go rafting through the Grand Canyon.

I supported Lucy Bellwood's Kickstarter and was wondering about that 10-day pause between updates. :-) 😀⚓️

The part where the local exhorts a rafter to "squeal like a pig" was... expected.

Lucy Bellwood is an adventure cartoonist

Jesus that is one of the greatest job titles I've ever seen.
