I like the cranky-faced cat.

I also predict more inter-cat conflict and vomiting than in the game.

I'm kinda concerned that you found that at the 5:32:07 mark.... I'm going to pretend it is just random chance and not some 'I've been watching over five hours of cat video and that was the most excitement I've seen'-induced knowledge.

Do you think that after someone painstakingly recreates the layout of a video game to place live cats in then records it for 11 hours from multiple cameras - do you think that at the end he then eats the cat that followed the rules of the game the least during the filming of the video? I'd like to not think so, but something tells me that this was not made by someone at the peak of their sanity and the imperfections, as per mother nature instead of an actual video game may anger said lunatic director...

As best I can tell with my non-existent Japanese, this was set up by Google Play Japan as part of a promotion for Game Week 2015 (whatever that is), not some random loner with too many cats and too much time. Less random cat video and more that one Ikea commercial with all the cats.

Yeah, there's an article from the Verge that says it was held at a cat cafe in Osaka.

And peeing. Don't forget peeing.

Game Week 2015

The Tokyo Game Show (like E3 in the US) is happening this week.

This is excellent! Do the cats bring special treasure-gifts eventually? I really wish the samurai cat with the sword would show up.

I want that obese cat to come eat all the food, take a nap by the bowl, and then shower everyone with gold sardines.

Please tell me this happens.

Does it have Cafe-san? If I watch the video and take a screenshot of Cafe-san, I'll finally have seen and photographed all the cats.

I still need treasures from Sphinx cat and Cream-San. GIVE IT UP, YOU BASTARDS.

Is cream-san the one I call Yolo, because they are the 25th in the list? Little bastard is stubborn about showing up, grr.

It's also worth knowing that, in the last two updates, the Rare Cats sometimes show up for other things. Bistro-san has some nice glass vase action, and the ronin cat will show up for the pink fancy cushion. Also ghost cat will lie on the kotatsu, and I wonder if there are other specials. I think Bistro-san deserves some time with the cake-cube, for example....
