"By the guy who took this drone video"

From the Multiverse in Scotland to a kitchen haircut.

Thanks.

This surprised me by making me bit emotional. I guess it reminded me about having my hair cut and shaved after it started to fall off (chemo). This guy had a very strong look going on with his hair whereas my hair wasn't anything that special, but it was long and thick and I was secretly quite vain about it.

It's a weird thing looking at oneself after such a big haircut. Scary but also a bit of a relief. Like, it feels strange but it's not a stranger in the mirror, it's still me. And his family/friends made it such fun that I feel retroactively bit sad for my former self, walking home from the hairdresser (who was very nice and supportive!) with my beanie over my ears wondering if was obvious that I had no hair.

As someone who makes videos about growing long hair, this was a little bit emotional, but in a great way! That was a killer mohawk he had going on.

What a just wonderful video. And it's almost up to 1,000 views now!

Great stuff!

After long hair for years, when I cut all mine off (straight down to a shaved head), all I felt was enormous relief. No more washing, blow drying, pony tails, checking the mirror. The stripping of previous identity, the removal of vanity. Such freedom, such simplicity. And feeling the wind on my head. Never regretted it, not for a second.
