I would love to see this place. The truly terrifying thing is H.P. Lovecraft standing right the hell there.

Oh. Isn't he in everyone's house like that?

Artw: "Oh. Isn't he in everyone's house like that?"

Well, talk about true terror. In my house, HPL decided pants-free was the way to be.

Yup, apparently he failed his SAN check.

I like how del Toro recently joined twitter and just went full on immediately... well beyond reasonable duty for promoting a film

I think Guillermo and I would have the greatest nerdiest conversations about old horror movies and The Haunted Mansion and other nerdy and ridiculous things.

But then I also know we'd get into a fight over something stupid, like whether or not they should have replaced the bride in the attic in the Haunted Mansion...

*sigh* Oh, it was never meant to be. Instead I will sigh heavily and look at photos of your awesome house.

Not mine, but I'm Jewish, so his worst nightmare would be me standing in his house.

I love that the reporter asks "Is Frankenstein your favorite monster" and he answers "Frankenstein's Creature is my favorite monster" without any snarkiness.

Frankenstein was the real monster. I mean, just look at the wild-eyed, sweaty creep.

Frankenstein is in the public domain now, so tell the story however you like.

I forget who said this first, but it's always stuck with me:

Intelligence is knowing Frankenstein isn't the monster.
Wisdom is knowing Frankenstein is the monster.

In the box on the coffee table is an ornate bed containing a skeleton, a reproduction of the captain’s bed on the Disney “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme park ride. “We did the ride a few times and photographed the fabric, to have the fabric made, miniaturized.”

Fidelity to the correct Pirates of the Caribbean ride fabric. Man, I heart this gentleman so damn much.

Oh, Lovecraft, of course! I was worried there was something I didn't know about GDT. Thanks!
