This is great, and I hate to be critical, but come on, you gotta find a way to get "it's a baby fucking wheel!" in there. A big fan of the "Jay" sequence toward the end, though.

Also, I just found this article, which is awesome.

Bergin said he was trending like the "Pope right now, dude." ... "If you look on Facebook, it says, 'The Pope,' and then it says 'Michael Bergin.'" the 41-year-old said in a telephone interview. "It’s overwhelming. I would have never thought this would happen, bro."

For some reason, I was just reading Tim Nelson's IMDB page, which has this passage about his role in Minority Report:

"[Spielberg] wasn't happy with what I was doing and it wasn't that I hadn't fully memorized [the revised] script. He just said, "I want an extreme character here." And I thought, "Well, my God, how extreme should I go?" Then he said, "Do a Boston accent." It seemed so arbitrary but it was really a brilliant piece of direction because everything suddenly started to click."

I cannot remember which character he played in that movie, and I'm not very good at identifying US city dialects, but now I have to see it again.

I guess "wicked" is passé now?

"Wicked" is a considered response, an accolade bestowed only after some reflection, and denotes an essential aesthetic superiority or elegance. See also "wicked awesome".

Whereas a novel event that's more immediate, more in-the-moment as, say, a big fuckin' sunfish, elicits a more spontaneous and visceral response.

I think there's enough distinct tones in the "Bro" section to fill an octave.

From "Here & Now": Fishing For Gold After Viral Video Fame. “We went to sleep and woke up and there were hundreds of thousands of views, tons of comments, and I said ‘oh boy this could be something.’ Before it went viral, I went, ‘oh here’s Michael again swearing,’ you know? So to me it wasn’t a surprise.”

It is a tonal dialect after all. Brṍ! (“call the Iquarium”) vs. Brở! (“I would be happy to stop at Dunkin’ Donuts on the way home”).

He played the guy who looked over the prisoners in suspended animation. I honestly cannot recall that he spoke with a Boston accent, but then again I haven't seen it since it hit theaters.

I read the title of this post and was expecting something about the recently ended run of Hawkeye comics with Matt Fraction. Pleasantly surprised.

He definitely did, because the one line that I have always quoted from that movie is his "Yoah nawt authorized!"
