Kansuke Yamamoto was a Japanese Surrealist, known mainly for his Photography (large Gallery some NSFW). He was also a Poet.

Thanks for this-- a new one for me. I'm a big fan of the more formalist photographers so some of this was really a treat, along the lines of this sort of thing. Then again this thing stopped me in my tracks for a couple of minutes. The paintings and graphic design later in that set was kinda nifty, too. Yeah, other than the Gutai crowd, Japanese art mid-century is a big blank spot in my experience to fill in-- thanks.
