This excerpt from the book on First Post is better. A terrifying story.

A torture straight from The Inferno

No, inferno's hell is a place of punishment for evil people. This man was a hero.

More than a hero: a righteous man.

His neighbors standing back, refusing to help; that's the part that gets me. They know he was forced into this, and they'd certainly want their own relatives buried properly, but they won't lift a finger themselves. I know it'd be dangerous, but NONE of them helped?!? Makes me wonder: who dug the gravedigger's grave?

Do not read the comments on that First Post excerpt. The excerpt is good but that comments section tells me that we do indeed live in the time of the Kali Yuga.

Sadly, I would wager that the police didn't dig it for him.

Fucking hell this is sad.

I told the SHO that I wouldn’t bury them. I said, do it yourself. He replied, ‘Humko azad karo. (Free us.)’

But what I did is the only thing I could have done at that time.

What people do to each other....
