This is Griffin McElroy. Welcome to Griffin's Amiibo Corner, a weekly series about a delightful new creation from Nintendo. (2) (3)

I can't wait to watch number 3! The first two were fantastic. He really nailed that weird-youtube-collector-guy delivery.

Those who enjoy this might also get a kick out some of the other great comedy Griffin and his brothers have created. Their other Polygon video series Monster Factory is so funny that I can't safely eat anything while watching it, and their podcasts My Brother, My Brother, and Me and The Adventure Zone are brilliant too.

Is this a reviewer for people with pica?

I cannot recommend Monster Factory highly enough. It is so, so good.

I've been working my way through the McElroy stuff and I love them so much. They hit some kind of magic goofy humor sweet spot for me. MBMBAM and Monster Factory make me laugh until tears come to my eyes 90% of the time. What totally weird, amazing humans on this earth.

I love the McElroys, but this one legitimately makes me a little scared for Griffin's safety. Like, I was at the toy store, and I saw some Amiibos, and all I could think about was, "Gee, I hope Griffin has some supervision while he's sticking these things in his mouth so he has help in case anything goes wrong."

I guess there's worse things you could do with an Amiibo, though.

I wonder how many episodes he can make it without saying "mouth feel" (or until Gold Dust gets him)?

Oh, and don't forget about Griffin's new podcast with his wife Rachel about all things The Bachelor called "Rose Buddies." Right now it's on his Soundcloud feed. I thought I already enjoyed the Bachelor franchise, but I didn't know how much MORE I would enjoy it with weekly smart-and-hilarious Griffin rants.

Also Sydnee and Rileigh are about to have a new show, Still Buffering.

This video series is somehow just the funniest thing I have ever seen. No one else around me seems to understand how funny it is to see someone I know to be competent being deliberately incompetent. The tiny touches are just brilliant.

I love this more than anything else right now.

Like just the fact that he's slightly off-center in the frame sends me into giggle-fits.

It's too much. I can't spend all my waking hours consuming media created by the McElroys. Why did I watch a Monster Factory ep? Now I have to watch them all!

Don't forget, episode 1 of "Shmanners," with Travis and Teresa, is coming out any day now too!

I just want them to be my friends. Is there an application I can fill out for that?

re: Monster Factory - does anybody else feel like their body disfigurement humor + motor speech disorders hits it a little too close to like grade school mockeries of people with disabilities?

like, I love the bros and I can't imagine they'd do it maliciously but boy does that series make me uncomfortable

I lord. I plowed through the entire Monster Factory this weekend. The three-part Fallout 4 episode, in which they completely destroy the world of Fallout 4, including the computer game itself, may be the maddest thing I have ever seen.

Shmanners and Still Buffering both premiered today, and both were predictably great. I'm already frustrated that there isn't more yet (their second eps are due to arrive Friday.)
