The Democratic Republic of Congo has a troubled history to say the least. Terrible crimes were committed against children, women, and men, but one woman rose up in response. Now, Rebecca Masika Katsuva has passed. Her words. Her story: Surviving Against the Odds, It's Not the End of the World.

Wow. This sort of reminds me of The Hope After Project , which is a non profit in the US that organizes service projects in memory of people who have died, as a way of helping those left behind cope with their grief. It's a nice idea. Helping those who feel frustrated and helpless in their grief by giving them something to do, something their missing loved one would have wanted, which helps others.

She must have had just incomprehensible grief... and responded with such unbelievable heroism...
