“A Sort of Anti-Extremist Flappy Bird”

‘I am a radicalised goat hell-bent on jihad’ – the FBI’s new anti-Isis video game: “As the title suggests, there are more metaphors to unmangle here: a wooden mannequin bound by strings, for example, which you can free by visiting all the site’s sections. These are rendered as rooms of a confusing family home, which appears to contain a dingy, windowless lecture room and a serial-killer basement.” (SLGuardian)

What? Why give up with one game on the market? That's a pretty broad category of games, TBH.

And I'd consider Goat Simulator the original jihadist goat game.

I’m a radicalised goat, hell-bent on jihad, but my extremist beliefs are threatened by green-and-grey blocks of debate.

I see the problem. Those debates should be just trash mobs; player needs to spend some time grinding for some XP and better gear.

This was my thought too, Goat Simulator on the streets of Syria.

This is what happens when you let dadaists design video games.

Everyone is confused, and everyone wins.

This is a decent effort, but the goat character is an abstruse feature.
Also, the use of neutral reinforcement is not correlated to user input.
It does not appear to be coded so that each level is deterministically solvable.
"Free the Puppet" is good, but "Slippery Slope" is almost offensive.
It might be considered racist to stereotype people as herd animals, and that would make the game counterproductive.

I want to get in on the government software contract money train. The stuff is shit, because the government bureaucrats don't know shit about anything, but they can check a box with it. And the contractors make bank. You just have to be in the right place at the right time talking to the right idiot.

I will make a twine game where the goat has to visit websites that support its worldview, but not so many that it becomes radicalized. One million government dollars, please.

Cool Papa Bell: I want to get in on the government software contract money train

It's one of many such contractor money trains, which can be lucrative until they come to a screeching halt as directives change with new administrations, or internal organization is shuffled and projects are suddenly dropped because no one is quite sure why they were started in the first place.

Don’t Be a Puppet: Pull Back the Curtain on Violent Extremism

Surely that's the precise text of a Mao-era Chinese propaganda poster.

Direct Link.

The minigame really understates the whole project. Surprisingly the propaganda door does not become an infinite portal back into the game. Bonus points for Soviet hearkening font choice.

I really, really want the FBI certificate but don't want to put in the grind time. Can has JS hax?

I thought one of the better games on radicalism had already been done.
