So what's the easiest legal or not quite legal way for an American to watch Brooker's Wipes as promptly as possible?

"He's a massively successful billionaire CEO, with his name all up in huge lettering on stuff he owns. Like Donald Trump, but younger and better looking, and a bit less of a burgeoning fascist tyrant who the world must stop at any cost."

Goddamn I love Philomena Cunk.

Americans love Trump 'cause he's got loads of money. Which is like the American version of being clever.

Well said, Barry.

These get bleaker every year. At this rate, 2016's Wipe is going to consist of 90 minutes of Brooker sitting silently at a desk while the civil defence siren blasts incessantly in the background.

Goddamn I love Philomena Cunk.

She's getting her own show

Seems weird that a video posted to YouTube without permission would not get in extra trouble for turning on ads. Not only are they sharing, but they are attempting to profit on the distribution.

Anyway, funny video. Sad year. And apologies for pointing out something not fun or on topic.

I watched this at crimbo cushioned by booze and biscuits...I don't think I can handle the horrors of last years election again anyway near sober. Especially as the RICH BASTARDS THAT NOW RULE US are busy carving up our health service to feed to their mates right as a I type.

You know Brooker does these shows once a week? And it takes months for pirated versions to arrive on Youtube?

SRSLY, if I could watch him regularly I would not need a news source. Not even metafilter.

1) no he doesn't; there were two specials and zero series all last year
2) check the date stamp on this video

Correction: One series of six to eight episodes in the spring?

"Watching a Trump rally is kind of exciting. I mean you just know that it's going to be in a documentary in 20 years with ominous music playing over it, but I'm getting to see it live."—Diane Morgan as Philomena Cunk

I had to look up a lot of the references - I don't know whether it's comforting or frightening to know that the UK media obsesses over stupid shit just as much as American media.

Charlie needs to do more Wipes. Or things in general.

On trump rallies "it's amazing to think, wow in 20 years I'll be watching this on a documentary with ominous music playing..."

That is great. Teach me your ways.

It took an embarrassingly long time for that one. I had to leave the page open, take a walk, make a sandwich...

Charlie needs to do more Wipes. Or things in general.

Netflix commissioned 12 new episodes of Black Mirror, so there's that.
