He's an idiot. Comes from upbringing. His parents are probably idiots, too. Lorraine, you ever have a kid who acts that way, I'll disown you.

Is this actually going to be a real movie, or have I been duped yet again?

Not bad. I'm not sure how they managed to get all those unrecognizable ( to me) Christopher Lloyd clips in there without mining old Taxi episodes.

You been duped man. I wasn't sure at first either but yeah.

It just needs a scene where radiation from the nucular blast transforms Doc and Marty into superheroes.

I'm getting by just fine with Rick and Morty, thank you very much.

Am I the only person who has a mental timeline where Jim Ignatowski sobers up, invents a crude time machine, goes back in time to thwart all his previous drug use, and becomes Dr. Emmett Brown?

The advantage of Back to the Future is that you could have 2016 Christopher Lloyd in, say, a prequel set in the seventies, and it could still make sense.

From the link: This was made using clips from: Back to the Future, My Favorite Martian, Camp Nowhere, Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead, Dennis the Menace, Zero Dark Thirty, Argo, The Sum of All Fears, Syriana, Iron Man, Dazed and Confused and Munich.

Dazed and Confused

Either I missed Christopher Lloyd's role in that film or there was a nuclear weapon subplot that I totally forgot about.

Man, making action/drama trailers is an art. A totally predictable art, but still an art.

Yeah, that one threw me, too, but I think I've got it: there's one totally incongruous shot in the trailer, a pinball shot at 2:08. I have no idea why it's in the trailer, but that's gotta be it. It's either that or the van that turns its lights on as it drives down the street, but I get the feeling that's from the actual Back to the Future scene where the Libyans show up.

Because the fake bomb was made of shoddy used pinball machine parts.

So, were Doc Brown to appear in a mid 1960s episode of Agent Carter (season 18 or 19), would he be a goodie or a baddie?

I'm thinking mostly bad.
