Reich and Sondheim: In Conversation and Performance (2:04:46). Composers Stephen Sondheim and Steve Reich in conversation on stage at the Lincoln Center in New York, interspersed with performances of their work. A summary from the Hollywood Reporter is here, including a list of all pieces played.
Glad Anthony de Mare is on here! If you haven't heard his project Liaisons: Re-imagining Sondheim at the piano, you should!

Okay, I had never ever once in all my 35 years of listening to Sondheim ever ONCE noticed the Reich influence. But put here, like this, it's impossible to ignore. In some strange way, it's like Sondheim is minimalism with melody. How have I never ever once noticed this before???
This is so excellent. I highly recommend it, even for those who aren't necessarily Sondheim or Reich fans. It's an illuminating evening that talks about how composers look at music, and then gives live performance examples of what they were just discussing.
