I am eagerly awaiting the day (maybe during the upcoming general elections here?) when an Irish politician lets slip with something silly.

Hehe. That's cool, but he has a long way to go to beat John Prescott, Britain's Deputy Prime Minister, who started punching the electorate in the head during the last election here. It was manifesto launch day I think too.

What he said was "Vaya coñazo que he soltado" - so "What fucking nonsense I've come out with", more or less.
