If you've never had the pleasure of comparing Australian TV news to your local or network equivalent, then this probably looks like just a mildly amusing troll. To an Australian, it's got at least a hint of biting close-to-the-bone satire about it…

Because I'm a nerd, I watched that Conan panel with some of the old Simpsons writers. One of the things they really loved was how even though Sting is in the studio, Krusty is the one who sings the solo.
