Reddit user _9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9 is leaving long comments on various seemingly unrelated threads that link together into a very horrifying secret history of LSD, WWII, and the end of the world.

I'd recommend reading from oldest to newest, if you dare.

I recently had a dream that echoes (but the dream came first?) certain parts of this story (however, my dream also included clearly seeing a big chunk of the moon exploding). Its a dream that has stuck with me for several days, clearly.

I am writing about what has never been, and what must never be.

Unfortunately, our generation has been given a special burden. We are doomed, as the apocryphal Chinese curse has it, to live in interesting times. Soon, technological advances in the field of information technology and bioengineering will fundamentally reshape human existence. There are a number of possible outcomes, and I believe that most of them will result in the human race entering unending era of absolute slavery.

As a free species, we have seen totalitarianism before, and we have destroyed it. But when it arises again, aided by advanced information and biological technology, it will have a new and unprecedented ability to envelop the entire earth and place humanity in an unalterable state of total mental and physical slavery that will last for uncounted millennia until the earth becomes uninhabitable .

Not only do I believe that this outcome is possible, I believe that it is overwhelmingly likely. Out of all the trillions of possible futures arrayed before us, 99.9999% of them result in this outcome. As Christ said, "Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But narrow is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

We must find and enter the narrow gate, but it will not be easy. It order to find it, we must sort through the many possible pasts to find the few possible futures which result in a humanity free to live and die as humans, and not as an unholy agglomeration of mindless flesh. Unfortunately, as we fight against the forces of slavery and death, it will be precisely our instincts towards the preservation of freedom and life that will lead us to destruction. In short, we live in precarious times.

I just googled the username 9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9, and one of the results was this video, with this google result. Do you guys know what on that youtube page would have returned that as a google result? As of right now there are only 16 views (2 of them me, just now), and no comments.

The only connection to the mythos on the Youtube page itself is that the video is purportedly a collection of reddit comments, purportedly assembled by a clickbaity site called mamamia.com.au (whose videos otherwise appear to be fairly innocuous young-lady-centered stuff - but of course, there may be more to them; I don't have the patience to watch them all).

If one watches this video, a selection of each reddit anecdote is highlighted, then followed by the username who purportedly posted the anecdote on reddit. Because I'm not sure whether the highlights or usernames are more important here, I'm listing both: highlights in all-caps and usernames in lowercase. They are:

COMPRESSION VEST
rmis2vulgar
SO TASTY AND FILLING
imnoidiot5
NEVER GOT IN ANY TROUBLE
2cigz
PREFER GOING TO WORK
desunoto101
SO AFRAID OF GOING TO THE DR
sicolorrd
BEING ALONE
the_joe_

The all-caps portions sure make a fucking freaky sounding message that could be of a piece with the encasement mythos, but perhaps the usernames are worth searching on reddit also? I would do that now but i have like three deepfried tortillas in my kitchen that are begging to be paired with this trader joe's white zinfandel

A thousand marines approached that baby. A thousand spoonfuls of fresh, delicious Heinz ketchup. We didn't know. We couldn't have known. That it would make the baby so... happy.

First the giggling, then the screaming; the giggling from the baby as it ate the Heinz ketchup, and then the screams of the people who didn't have the Heinz ketchup, while all around us

"not-nirvana-dogfood" is showing up on the page source for every youtube video I check (including just a bunch of random front page ones), and 'dogfood' is a pretty commonly used term within Google (and the tech industry at large) for an unreleased beta test feature (as in, the dogfood version of an app is a version being tested internally that will be released soon). Someone in Reddit identified the 9horse eyes guy as someone named Jingles. Jingles seems articulate when I read her/his comments. It is a quixotic bunch of stuff. 395 FERDINAND
Where should this music be? I' th' air or th' earth?
It sounds no more, and sure, it waits upon
Some god o' th' island. Sitting on a bank,
Weeping again the king my father’s wrack,
This music crept by me upon the waters,
Allaying both their fury and my passion
With its sweet air. Thence I have followed it,
Or it hath drawn me rather. But ’tis gone.
No, it begins again.

"Lost Our Lisa"

After accidentally taking the wrong bus, Lisa ended up at "The End of the Line" in the middle of a desert and had no idea where she was. While looking for the way home, she found a secret military base. She thought it was Area 51, but the guard told her it's actually Area 51-A.
