Close your eyes and I swear, the goats at :37 and :41 sounds like half of the Muppets that Jim Henson voiced.

Manages to be more surreal than their actual song about Surrealism.

this note is for future internet archaeologists

the internet had to exist for a certain amount of time to make this video possible.
you can determine the length of time necessary to produce the stock material in this video.
from these figures you might extrapolate the necessary growth period of any internet video.

Great stuff! Kind of burying the lede there though, I swear that's an actual talking cat!

Ok, so I'm rocking out to this. My daughter comes out and asks what it is because it sounds scary, so we watch the end of the video, and then I say they replaced the instruments and vocals with animal sounds. So I then search google for "where is my mind pixies" and find the music for it. And surprisingly, there are portions of this where it is a shot for shot remake of someone's black and white home video about their dog ... which as an art piece is about as conceptually weird a thing as possible. Whereupon my daughter asks "Why is this in Black and White?" and complains that the video is blurry...

The animals were singing in Russian, of course.

That's better - and weirder - than I expected. (My favorite Pixies cover is Storm Large doing Where Is My Mind)
