all kinds of water in voxels

Water in voxels: a pleasant little collection of watery scenes hand-drawn in chunky 3D. (Voxels are the 3d equivalent of pixels, like the blocks that make up a minecraft world.)

Note: the 3d viewer worked fine on my five year old smartphone, but it may not work on all browsers.

Wow, some of these are little works of art.

But somehow I wish I could do more with them. Some are just so nice I wish I could do something more with them; walk around them, print them out in 3d ... somehow I get the feeling I should or could do more than just ... rotate them.

Well, many of them would actually look nice in Minecraft, so you could recreate them there.

I see nice work in these, some look like they could be some pretty decent sprites, like the dolphin one. I'm not too impressed though, probably because I've been tooling around in Landmark for a couple years and can see what potential there is in voxel engines. This is cute for blocks but it's Stone Age art compared to the stuff I've seen done.
