Somehow, this cake does not look quite as tasty as a Mac n' Cheeto.

Hate to be that guy, but some of the "body art" is very disturbing.

I love the gross anatomy cakes and body art. Danny Quirk does similar anatomical paintings on people that are just fantastic.

ALL of it is very disturbing, but the dead baby doll is the worst. How is that a "comfort doll?" This needs a warning of very gross subject matter. I wish I had not clicked on any of it.

I think it's sleeping?

Yeah, sleeping. It's a doll that looks like her daughter.

Wow! This woman has prodigious amounts of talent and a flair for the grotesque, in addition to what must be terrific time management skills to juggle all of these projects while working as an RN (which seems like it must be a pretty demanding job). Makes me feel motivated to pursue more hobbies!

Please don't get me wrong, her work is amazing. I just wasn't expecting to see such a realistic degloved finger.

That was all just completely amazing.

Insane talent.

the thought-fox - I was just wondering how on earth a nurse/new mom has the energy to do all that (or even some of it). Ridiculously talented as well!

I like her cakes, makes sense that they'd come from a nurse. Maybe that's where she's putting feels about her day job. (Or night job, those schedules - seriously so impressed, on multiple metrics)

As a Fannibal, I have to question: are we quite sure these are cakes

because that would explain her apparently exceptional time management skills

just sayin'

Hello, nurse.
I would like these cakes please:

1) Crisp starched sheets and a faint aroma of lemon detergent.
2) Dim the lights and draw the curtains.
3) A piece of toast and soft scrambled eggs.
4) A glass of water and your pill now.
5) Doctor says you're doing very well.

Thank you.

Wow. I am in awe. Like, in a good way, but also I am terrified.

I'm generally *the audience* for grotesqueries of all kinds; and the intersection of exquisite craftsmanship, life science, and bizarre humor is exactly where I want to live... but man:

I was eating lunch when I saw that rectal thermometer cake.

I'd definitely serve the lamprey, though.

Sometimes, when I'm home from work, I make macaroni and cheese from a box.

I don't feel so awesome about my energy levels right now.

Some of that seems definitely inspired by her clinical work. I also really want one of those Jesus toothbrush holders.

I'm calling it, she definitely is Hannibal. Notice that the toothbrush holders are just as much a mockery of a human who is suffering one of the most tortuous modes of execution the ancient world had to offer.

I think I'd prefer not to be treated by this nurse, especially in an emergency.

The chicken feet ornaments are really great. Imagine a whole tree of them!

I'm imagining her seeing the most disturbing and grotesque things in her career as an RN and thinking, "you know, I should make a cake of this."

I did get it that the doll was a replica of her child and was supposed to be sleeping, and also that the woman who made all these things has incredible talent. She could have a second career in horror movie special effects, if they were not all computer generated today.

However some of us are just creeped out by overly realistic dolls, that it is a replica of her child made it more disturbing, not less. All I was suggesting was a warning for those who prefer not to view these things, not that they should not be available to those who find them amusing.

These are amazing and horrible and terrifying and awesome. So she's achieving her goal - we are definitely feeling more than just one thing.

I had a doll that was somewhat realistic as a very small child, with a heavy head. I loved it. I can totally understand it being a comfort to a child. I actually prefer her more realistic doll than the freaky 80s version.
