The first one I got was VPN was not working, which is actually one of the most common and legit reasons for not getting something done in my office. Yay. Thanks crappy enterprise network management.

If it wouldn't be so inexcusably passive-aggressive on my part, I'd be tempted to put a link to that on the Blackboard page to the course I teach...at least that way I'd get some new excuses for work not completed on time.

This one is pretty funny because we are the DOT. Though I have very old trees so it's plausible.
