They're only at Denmark

I watched 'Denmark' all the way through and enjoyed it. I have been meaning to check the correct pronunciation of Kierkegaard for some time and this was very helpful in that regard.

I am enjoying these. He's got good delivery.

Seems like most people I talk to don't know this, so this is as good a time as any to mention it: the US Dept. of State maintains a foreign traveler information database for every country on Earth (that it recognizes). Pick a country and find out their Passport validity and visa requirements, any travel warnings, any unique laws that would be good to know, and how to get around. For instance, Djibouti requires six months validity on your passport (though doesn't specify from entry or expected exit date) and you have to get vaccinated for yellow fever.

In conclusion, Djibouti may seem kind of dry and desolate...

An excellent little video! I've had a long-standing interest in living /working in Denmark, but I have a few years to wait yet before I'm qualified to practice medicine overseas.

US Dept. of State maintains a foreign traveler information database

The Foreign Office of the United Kingdom does much the same. It also offers specialist advice for LGBT travellers, with travel warnings about countries in which they may be at risk. For example, the USA.

that's a great video. and thinking about it, yes, at least in Copenhagen we do walk (and bike) around looking like J.Crew fall models hehehehehe.

language-wise, we may not need subtitles for tv/movies in english, but we sometimes need them when they interview people from southern Jutland. The danish news channels when interviewing residents from that part of the country will add subtitles. This video is a sketch from a comedy show, but both guys are speaking danish. The guy with glasses is speaking "normal" danish, and the guy with the hat is speaking sønderjysk (from southern jutland) and we seriously do need the subtitles:
